Charisma is a nonprofit dedicated to transformational arts. Through movement, sound, visual expression, nature, and conscious living, we support humanity and this planet in living with deeper alignment, awareness, and joy.
About Makaiah
I'm Daina Fawn, and my Hawaiian name is Makaiah, which means "where the land and the ocean meet" or "land dolphin." I carry this name as a symbol of harmony between earth, water, spirit, body, presence, and love. The dolphin is the essence of joy and true love—a being that heals through frequency, much like a tuning fork of bliss.
I have over 22 years of experience guiding others to become present in their bodies through yoga, dance, and other forms of movement.
Charisma was born on the dance floor. It was there I met my soul—felt the essence of life energy moving through me, what some call prana, mana, or chi. That same energy flows in us at birth and leaves at death. Dance and art became the medicine that helped me transcend pain and expand into joy.

Tibetan Sound Bowl Energy Alignment
Everything is vibration. These sacred bowls, tuned to specific frequencies, ripple through your body like waves in water—clearing, aligning, and balancing your energy field.
In our sound baths and private sessions, the mind quiets, emotions settle, and your senses awaken to the present moment. It’s a return to essence, a deep remembering of your inner harmony.
Watercolor & Visual Arts
Painting becomes a mirror to the soul. We explore visual art as a reflection of the self—where every color is an aspect of who we are.
When we create art, we expand ourselves.
We learn to love the full spectrum: the dark hues and the bright ones, each equally worthy.
Watercolor invites us into stillness and presence. Through detail, light, and color, we discover deeper awareness and freedom of expression.
Yoga
Yoga is union—of breath, body, and soul.
Our yoga practices focus on aligning the inner and outer worlds, cultivating presence, balance, and grace in each posture. It’s not about performance, but about returning to the sacred rhythm of your body and spirit.
Paddle Boarding Experiences
At Charisma, we invite you to connect with nature and deepen your presence through our guided paddle boarding sessions.
Paddle boarding on calm waters becomes more than a physical activity—it’s a moving meditation. As you glide gently over the water’s surface, you’ll feel the rhythm of the waves and the breath of the earth beneath you. This dance of balance and flow opens a portal to stillness and clarity.
One of our special experiences includes paddle boarding to a serene beach, where we gather for a Tibetan Sound Bowl sound bath, accompanied by the natural chorus of the ocean, birds, and wind—an immersive experience that aligns your energy with the rhythms of the Earth.
Along the way, there’s always the possibility of encountering sea life—dolphins, rays, and other ocean beings are known to frequent these waters. While we never know exactly when they might appear, their presence is a beautiful reminder of the magic and interconnectedness of all life. Each journey is a unique unfolding, guided by nature herself.
Projects & Outreach
We are currently working on two powerful projects:
1. The Charisma Yurt
A 30-foot yurt being built as a community gathering space for yoga, dance, sound baths, and transformational events. A sacred space for unity, growth, and joy.
2. Flying Fawn
Flying Fawn is a 37-foot Tyana sailboat being restored as a vessel of love and light. She will carry our soul family to places on Earth that are isolated or in need, bringing Charisma’s offerings to people who may not otherwise have access to transformational arts.
At our destinations, we will offer sound baths, movement practices, joy-filled gatherings, and art experiences. We will work as a community to sail her to each destination—spreading healing, inspiration, and unconditional love.
We are currently seeking sailors, marine mechanics, and ocean-loving souls with knowledge of marine construction to help restore her.

Outreach: Seeing the Stars in the Dark Places
Part of Charisma’s mission is to bring our soul family into the places that need love the most. We go into communities that have experienced hardship, grief, or trauma—offering transformational arts as a bridge back to presence, connection, and joy.
In this outreach, we go into nursing homes, hospitals, orphanages, schools, churches, correctional facilities, mental health facilities, rehabilitation for substance abuse, and connect with our brothers and sisters who live on the streets. We visit less fortunate communities and walk alongside people who are in deep need or navigating challenging times in their lives—especially in places most others don’t want to go. These are the spaces where love, empowerment, and expansion of consciousness are needed the most.
Speaking from the heart is key. In our community outreach, we go into the dark places to connect with the brightest stars. We go to communities that are in need of love, empowerment, and the expansion of consciousness—places that most people overlook or avoid. That is where people are in need the most. We open our hearts and show up fully, not just to give—but also to receive. We are opening our hearts to receive the abundance that supports us in continuing these sacred missions.
When entering these communities, we begin by building trust through authentic listening and genuine connection. We reach out with open hearts, respecting the unique rhythms and needs of each community. We offer free workshops, movement sessions, sound healing, and creative arts experiences—always rooted in presence and mutual respect. Relationship comes before offering. We listen before we act. And we always invite collaboration, recognizing the wisdom that already exists within each place we visit.
